Anyone else just want to go home? Tired of where you are, or maybe who you are?

I love being married, don't get me wrong...but I don't feel like I'm at home yet. I've been married for almost 6 months and it kinda feels like we're just playing house and that we'll have to go back to our parent's house eventually. On top of this, when I do go home to my parent's house, well, I guess that isn't home either anymore. I don't have a bedroom (although there is one I can stay in). My mom gets mad at me when I knock before I come in or when I ask to get something out of the fridge, but I feel like I should. It's not their fault. I guess that I'm just at a funny stage in life.

I'm looking forward to the day when I can really go home. In Romans 8 it talks about how our spirit cries out for what we were meant for-- to be with God. I don't really know what it will be like. I just know that it will be rest. All of this fighting and trouble will be gone.

Revelation 21:3,4:

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Hmmm. I can't wait.

Did you hear about that chicken head Mcnugget? Pretty freaky. You know that there had to be some 15 year old fry cooks who cooked it. I bet they were laughin' pretty hard.

The Verse of the Moment:

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
--Romans 5:8
