Man, I can't wait to go home and see my family. I've been thinking about this time 2 years ago when I came home from college for Christmas Break. I had just gotten a refund check from the school for my loans, so I had like $600 to blow [yea. I'll be paying for that in a few months]. Anyway...When I got home I took my little sister Rachel out for the day. We went to Westport in KC and just went to all the punk rock/skater shops and looked at thrift stores and junk. After that, we went to some little restaurant called Otto's and ate. I think that was the last time I really hung out with her. Since then, we've both gotten so busy...and different. I'm 22, she's 17. We're in two totally different worlds right now. I hope that the age difference will all even out soon. I miss hanging out with the little punk.
I really miss my family right now. I had a weird dream last night about my sisters. It wasn't bad or anything, it was just very real-- like I just got done talking to them. It stinks not being able to keep up with what is going on in their lives. |
