Welcome fellow General Hospital fan! This site has been put together as a place where the fans can unite against the horrible writing that is taking place on our favorite show. We the fans have endured the destruction of beloved characters for the past few years, and there is no end in sight. Anyone who has been a loyal GH watcher for the past few years knows what we mean. Well, we're afraid to report that it is official: the popular character of Lucky Spencer has been destroyed and reinvented! With a new actor and horrible writing, the once-loved son of Luke and Laura has gone from a caring, warm, emotional young man to a confusing, distant, and emotionless stick figure. The fans who were longing for a reunion between Lucky and his loved ones were frustrated and annoyed at a boring storyline that was drawn out for what seemed like an eternity. Things only worsened when the overdue reunion took place - this 'new' Lucky slugged his father and ran away from his parents. The icing on the cake is the moment when Lucky runs away from the love of his life. Surely this guy can do more than run and hide from the people he loves so much? Our beloved show is lost and needs help in finding its way home. Why is this happening? Who is in charge? And what can I do to get my favorite soap back!

Just to make ourselves clear on this important matter, we are not targetting or blaming Jacob Young on the destruction of Lucky Spencer. Sure, not everyone has been pleased with his work on the show since his debut in February, but the motives, actions, and dialogue spoken by the character is not in any way his decision. This petition was not started to create a competition between Jonathan Jackson and Jacob Young. This matter has nothing to do with the actors and everything to do with the writers.

We've come up with an organized way of uniting all of the fans together to get TPTB's attention on this matter. We need to do something that will make a difference. A few individual letters written to the show won't catch anyone's attention. But one strong, united front will clearly make a difference. Our proposal thus far is this: write letters to Bob Guza and company at GH, letting them know what horribly pathetic writing they're doing. Tell them of your love for Lucky and Liz, and why it makes no sense to destroy this couple. We will be collecting letters to send in together, so feel free to e-mail us your complaint. If you choose to send letters individually (and we encourage this, too!), we suggest including a lucky rabbit's foot or a lucky subway token. Attach a note "Hope you're lucky because your'e losing your viewers" to it. Could you imagine the look on their faces when they receive piles of letters with rabbit's feet in them? This will surely gain their attention!
