lucy and lizabeth belong together and so dos carley and sony if eny thing happens to these couples i quit watching (if they brake up for good) these two couples been throw alot i cryed and jumped up and down when lucy relized that him and liz belonged tog ther now it time for sony and carley to reallize that they make one great couple i would love if the show showed these two couples every day even have general hospital on daring the weekend i like most of the people that play in the show but them four ore my faverit.

I think JY is doing his job up to HIS potential but JJ Jonathon Jackson was different in a bad way! When they were gona...well you know-I tried to picture JJ. I try to picture JJ in all the scenes and I just want to see him, and liz. JJ come back! JJ come back! JY has a movie deal and all that and I don't think JJ is doing great... he NEEDS to come back for the fans or I might loose interest and stop watching.

The old lucky would have died for Liz. He would not have turned his head and acted like he didn't know who she was. Any real fan knows this. To bring in a new actor (who by the way looks nothing like Jonathon Jackson) and try to totally change Lucky's haracter is crazy. There are so few similarities in the personalities of the two Luckys. It is unbelievable and undesirable to watch!!!

The characters are jumping through too many hoops, and taking too many turns. Lucky and Liz, never got to actual be together like they planned at all, and now they still aren't. Before you know it the romance will end before things pick back up.

I think that the writers have done a good job of bringing the character of Lucky back. I think the reason that they have the current storyline with Liz and Lucky is that they wanted to bring the character back in slowly. People got so used to seeing J. . in the role, that they needed to put a different spin on it. P.S. I think that Jacab Young is doing a tremendously good job with what he has been given so far.

The Lucky/Liz storyline was the most realistic storylines i have ever watched out of every daytime show. I used to prefer this show over any other teen show because of the realism. The writing was superb,and not cheesy. One could see a real connection in he actors. You could tell that they enjoyed the storylines also. Given the fact that Lucky was expected to act different after the lock-up(that was crappy too, after such a good story line of his death,these scenes were a mockery to Jon Jackson)i see no e otion to the characters. This storyline is turning in to all other storylines on other soaps and it could be stopped. It is starting to turn in to fairytales--come on brainwashing by chess??? how often do you hear of that? On the otherhand, the rape scene were realistic and actually happens. You are losing viewers and if it wasnt for the carly/sonny scenes you would lose another viewer. Also adding scenes like emily and juan will NOT take the place of liz/lucky, that is hardly a romance storyline. i see n real point to their relationship. you had better take the advice of the viewers and fix the mess you have made.

The reasons why I think the writting should change is because they are ruining one of the best characters on the show. Lucky was an awesome character and there is no reason to be making it so long and drawn out. Also I was watching my tapes of Lucky and L zzie (the ones with JJ) and how can they have this storyline be like this. They were so such a good couple. They loved each other so much, and not reunite them is so ignorant. If they want the fans to keep watching they are going to have to reunite Lucky nd Lizzie. I am by no means bashing Jacob Young I feel sorry for him, he has to live up to probably the best younger actor on daytime television, and the best younger character, and there giving him this aweful storyline. I definitly want Lucky and Lizzie to reunite, and I definitly think that this storyline needs to be changed.

I waited so long for Lucky's return, and was very excited to find out that he finally was. but then disaster struck and Lucky turns out to be a different person. Hasnt GH already done this story line when Jason got inot his car accident. It isnt exactl the same story line, but close enough to be a bad choice. Lucky and Liz belong together no matter how much anyone thinks that story line is too old!!

He don't see Lucky running away from Elizabeth at all. It does make sense that he is mad at his parents because he was with Helena all of that time, but why Elizabeth? They had a relationship that they were so connected in that it just doesn't work. Lucky keeps thinking about previous scenes with Elizabeth, but his acti ns are very different from his thoughts. Another problem I have is the reworking of old scenes between Elizabeth and Lucky. The writers shouldn't rework a good thing!

It astounds me how much further GH has gone with this Lucky thing. So much further then i ever thought they would go. I wasn't convinced that they would even recast, but when they did, i tried to understand. But I can't take this anymore. Not only do they recast, but they redo some of the most important scenes L/L ever had (ie, first kiss) how could they? How could they take something so special to the fans and redo it with a recast? Not only that, but it wasn't even good! It's such a complete insult to wh t Jonathan and Becky did to make us love them together. Now, I'm almost sick watching it. Okay, so I need to clarify that as more than just being a different actor. I've read that the character of Lucky was too pivotal to keep away for too long. Well, this is not the Lucky the fans were wanting back since the real Lucky would have been much tronger and not have been brainwashed or whatever is supposed to be going on with him. This storyline has been ludicrous since the moment Lucky was shown as being alive after the fire. Even back then, the disrespect for the fans was clear. Showing Lucky to be alive just was wrong and a blatant way to say that a recast was going to happen unless Jonthan Jackson came back. This was utter disrepect to a three time Emmy winning actor. Ho anyone could think that it was okay to replace a character played by such an amazing actor is beyond me. Emmys mean something big and should be respected. No other character that could be considered pivotal (Brenda, Robin, Jason) has been recasted, but the character formnerly played by someone who garnered an Emmy nomination each and every year he was on the show needs to be recasted? I also have a total disrepect for the way the Lucky and Liz storyline is being played out. The redoing of scenes originally done by Rebecca Herbst and Jonathan Jackson needs to stop and soon. These two actors created something wonderful and if anyone ev r wants me to begin to see Jacob Young as Lucky, then he can't be redoing Jonathan's work since all I will do is compare the two. That's not fair to Young since he can't be compared to someone that is a much superior actor. Again, these recreations are slap in the face to the fans of Lucky and Liz. We saw a magic for two reasons: Rebecca Herbst and Jonathan Jackson. Please do something about the current situation and I challenge you to make Jacob Young's Lucky someone I can at least care about to some small extent. Instead, we are being forced to watch the results of the behind-the-scene efforts to make something work that is bound to fail. Why? Because the powers that be refuse to admit when they have made a mis ake, mainly because they have to live up to the motto of the head of ABC-Daytime Television, Angela Shapiro: "No one is irreplaceable." Well, Angie, dear, you could not be more wrong on that point. There ARE certain actors that are irreplaceble: Tony Geary's Luke, Susan Lucci's Erica, Erica Slezak's Vicki, and (yes) Jonathan Jackson's Lucky. I am extremely horrified with the re-doing of Lucky and Liz scene , as well, as not only is it disrespectful to the beauty of the story in the hands of Jonathan Jackson and Rebecca Herbst, but it highlights the obvious differences in the level of Jonathan and Jacob�s performances. Putting that aside, however, in the spirit of this petition, I would like to say that the entire story leading up to Lucky�s return to Port Charles has been rushed, boring, and just plain doesn�t make sense. It�s absolutely ridiculous that Helena could b ainwash Lucky to hate his parents, and particularly ludicrous that she could do it by telling them a few stories about why she hates them. Lucky's entire character has changed, as well. There is no way he would have stared silently into space for the first month he was back. If you were going to go ahead and make this mistake, you should have made it with gusto and had him come on like gan busters with Lucky's spunk and bravado and cleverness. The way he has been with Elizabeth is completely out of character, as well. Lucky and Elizabeth were portrayed as soulmates. They saw each other through the hardest times in their lives, and, despite their youth, I have no doubt in my mind that they wou d be together forever, whatever the circumstances. In portraying the story in this manner, you have cheated the fans of Lucky and Liz out of the one consolation we would have had in the situation � a happy reunion. In addition, the story would have been much more compelling if Luke and Laura had found out he was alive earlier, and had spent more time searching for Lucky. Although soaps often stretch things out more than they should, in this situation, it could have made for so much more dramatic tension if the search had gone on for months. Instead of being a compelling and dramatic search by two estranged soulmates for their beloved son, it became about Luke and Felicia and food poisoning. I could say a lot more, but I don�t see the point, since I am no longer watching the show, and will not be for a very long time. The only way this can be salvaged is by a reunion of the real Lucky and Liz, Jonathan Jackson and Rebecca Herbst, and a happy ending.

You've lost this viewer a long time ago, when writers were not staying true to the characters the summer after Lucky's "death." I knew then what has been proved to me over and over since then...that I cannot trust the writers to give us honest, dynamic, a d fulfilling storylines. If Lucky is brainwashed, fine, but TPTB need to stop reshooting L&L2 scenes that are sacred to the fans and to RH and JJ with JY. It's an insult to all of us. Plus, if they ever have Jacob sing "Elizabeth," they will lose a lot of viewers. That song wa conceptualized and written by Jonathan, and even if the copyrights belong to ABC (which I believe they do), they should have enough respect for him to not ever use it again unless he's the one singing it.

I LOVE GH. I've been watching since the day I turned 13. Almost 7 years ago. I think that GH writers need to down play the drama between Liz and Lucky. I mean just because he hates his parents doesn't mean his love for Elizabeth is gone. But today May 2,2 00 I saw a glimpse of hope. Hey!! Thank you for letting me know about this site!! It's a GREAT way to try to bring Liz and Lucky fan's together. I do agree with most that it is not Jacob Young's fault that Lucky has declined, it is the poor writing that TPTB are putting out. I loved Liz and Lucky together last year (man its been a year since i've last seen a "good" liz and lucky moment) the characters were perfect-the storylines kept me watching. Now i find myself skipping over Lucky scenes because welll...it just doesn't draw me in. Of course I loved Jonathan and Becky for their amazing work and chemistry that they put in their characters but we knew that either of the actors (it happened to be Jonathan) would have to leave eventually, b/c they can't keep the actors there forever but the least GH could have done when they had to replace the actors would be to write a decent story line!! oye. i have to go! The same disappoinment was experienced when Brenda (Vanessa Marcil) left GH, and look how many attempts were made to allow Jax to finally move on and bring some peace to Brenda's fans! I can understand Jonathan Jackson's decision to explore acting beyond H, therefore,though I may not like it, I can accept a new lucky. But the choice of replacing such a popular character and then giving it such a low climax when all were reunited was very disappointing to say the least. Let alone the ridiculous storyline he writers have half-wittedly threw at the viewers. Jacob Young was facing a tough enough struggle having to gain the approval of all the Jonathan Jackson fans, and the poor storyline is making him REAL hard to tune in to. They're killing this guy before he even had a chance. I can't believe how the storyline writing has dramatically decreased from such high talented and creative writing, to very subdue casual writing in a drawn out and boring, hum-drum way. There is way too much talent on that show to ettle for jeopardizing their characters they have built over the years. GH writers need to turn this around FAST -- or ratings will definitely drop, along with several jobs I'm sure.

I realize Jonathan Jackson is a fantastic actor and knew that the first time they showed him on GH when Luke & Laura came back. So I wasn't surprised he left as I knew he was destined for even greater things. It's always hard to accept a new actor in a be oved role. No offense against Jacob Young but he is just not the Lucky we all know and love. His mannerisms, his actions, emotions, etc. I don't feel anything for him as I did before.
