Blue

December 1, 2000

Blue.  Not any blue, but deep rich royal
Hugged your chest and stomach
As you leaned back into your chair
Clinging so tightly to your body
I could only stare at your pecs, your abs

Barely covered by a loose fitting white shirt
Buttons undone, hanging softly to either side
The contrast of colors a blue shimmering mirage
As your muscles ripple under the surface
Resistance is futile, I reach out
Sparks jump into my fingertips before first contact is made
I touch.  So firm.  So hot.  So alive

Eyes, so dark, mirrored your T-shirt
With black lashes, begging to be kissed
Look at me and smile, inviting my hand to explore
I am shy, frozen by your high voltage
You reach out and press your hand to mine
Forcing my palm to lie flush against your shirt
A flimsy barrier to your searing aura

...Pardon?  Oh, sorry
I was daydreaming.  About What?
Oh, I was just feeling blue.
