About Santacruz
I reside in Mumbai in a suburb called Santacruz. Santacruz is the part of the western suburbs and is considered one of the poshest suburbs in Mumbai.

It is divided into two section by the railway line - East and West . The western part is the more developed section which is connected to the posh suburbs of Bandra, Juhu, Khar and Parle this section holds some very beautiful gardens, churches, mosques and temples. The roads are clean and its full of greenary.

The Eastern part is less developed yet it is very busy and holds some very important government buildings. The eastern part of Santacruz is made upof Vakola and Kalina which has a population of nearly a million people.

The Santacruz Market is a Prime Shopping area and has some of the best bargains in Mumbai.You can literally spend a whole day shopping and still feel heavy on your pockets.

The Juhu Beach

On the Western Border of Santacruz Lies Juhu Beach. Mumbai's 2nd most famous beach after chowpatty in downtown mumbai. This place is famous for a stunning sea view and amazing snacks(chaats)

Eastern part of Santacruz is Dominated by the Santacruz Domestic Airport and it is oneof India's most busy airports.

The Vidya Nagar Campus

The nerve center of the University of Mumbai is situated in the Vidyanagar Campus in Santacruz East. Its the premiere insitute of Research and Development in Mumbai and is one of the largest University Campuses in the World with  a student body of nearly 500,000 stuents.
