Monday

Review the rotation of the moon and Sun. Class discussion, characteristics and facts about the moon.  Begin “moon journal”.

Complete Virtual Field Trip at home and be prepared to discuss in class tomorrow.

Tuesday

Review VFT and continue “moon journal”.

Students will view the movie at Brainpop and take the quiz. Print off quiz results.

Wednesday

Review moon’s phases and movement. 

Complete Webquest activity and discuss in class. “Moon journal”

Thursday

Discuss moon’s affect on the Earth.

In class participation Hillsborough High game and further discussion of moon phases and how they affect the Earth. “Moon journal”

Friday

Review “moon journal”

Students will work together in groups of four to complete a poster showing the phases of the moon.
