Commitment
Our personal commitment was to walk a combined total of over 200 miles and raise over $7,500 during events in 2004 to increase awareness, support, and funding for the issue of breast cancer.

Why We Walk
Every 3 minutes, another woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. Every 14 minutes, another family loses a wife, sister, mother, friend to this disease. In 2003, it is estimated some 400 husbands, brothers, fathers, and friends will also be lost to this disease. Although Sandy Sewell was our inspiration for getting involved in the walks, in that time, we've learned of many more women and men who've inspired us or whose spirit has blessed us.
