The Food Guide Pyramid is a way of showing what foods are healthy to eat. It also shows how much of each food you should eat each day. When you use the Food Guide Pyramid as a guide for what you eat each day, you will have a balanced diet. This is really important right now, because you are growing! Your body needs healthy foods to help it grow up strong! Below is a sample of the Food Guide Pyramid.
