In the time since I have known Bill, the things we have done, the things we have seen, the places we have been are to say the least.......incredible. We have been fortunate in the fact that we have been able to live on the East Coast and now the West Coast. It gave us the opportunity to travel to places we may not have been able to, or just had not ever thought to go to before. If you had the chance to check out the pics from the link on the main page or this page(same pics) you will have seen some of the pics we took. When we did the New York City thing, we did not take any pictures(forgot the camera(my bad) at home, well actually could not find it, but shhhhh)......and to buy just a little disposable one in NYC was unreal, they wanted $15 US for just one, and do you think you can find a Wal-Mart in downtown NYC....not likely.....all you find in downtown NY is people, cars and more people. NYC was my Christmas present from Bill, he did not know what to get me, so he gave me a trip to the city, pretty damn awesome present if you ask me!! He always does the same thing when we go away, he tells me we are going for a drive, so when I ask where he says...Oh I don't know..New York, Boston or Nashville, just like its a Sunday drive. Even our Sunday drives are pretty wild, took the car down a logging road and went 4x4ing in it!!! Not sure the poor lil thing will ever be the same again!! But it was fun!
For the most part we travel really well together, until you give me a map that is!! On some of our journeys, I have directed us to an airport(sorry I thought it was an exit to go to a gas station!!), to the Bronx(not so sure that one really was all my doing), to the top of a mountain that the road was closed for the winter(now I know that was not my fault), many dead end roads, hmmm the list goes on and on, but despite my lack of map reading skills, we always end up where we want to go, sometimes after seeing something we probably never would have had the chance to see(if we had went the correct way to begin with). The most fun we have is when we hit the logging roads, the places you can go are endless, you truly are in the middle of nowhere. We have only been in BC since July and there are not very many logging trails that we have not managed to travel yet. It can be pretty intimidating to meet one of the logging trucks on those narrow roads, and Bill makes it even worse by scaring the hell outta me by almost driving right into the rock cliff or over the edge of a mountain!!!
