Biggest Rivalry In SHL History Will Face-off At Outdoor Classic
An Article From Dickie Dunn of the Scott City Sun

SCOTT CITY, TC The fans voted it as the greatest rivalry in the leagues history and now the Scott City Grrrowl(8-4-2) and the Dionland Twisters(6-6-2) will face-off in the first ever SHL outdoor game.  Typically the home of the Scott City Oil Kings of the Saskatchewan Baseball League, Chevrolet Field situated in downtown Scott City will be used for another purpose other than a baseball stadium on January 31, 2009.

The rivalry between the two teams dates back to the first year of the SHL but it really became evident in the 2003-2004 Copenhagen Cup Final when Dionland defeated Scott City in six games.  Following the Lockout in the 2005-2006 playoffs, Scott City eliminated Dionland in the semi-finals four games to two.  Then in last years playoffs Dionland knocked out Scott City in the first round in the seventh game, the Twisters eventually went on to win their second Copenhagen Cup.  Dionland currently leads the season series against the Grrrowl 1-0 after a big 6-0 win over Scott City in Week 6.

Over the past five SHL seasons there have been numerous altercations, line brawls, and war of words between the two organizations. Saturday, January 31, 2009 will be etched in history as another classic confrontation between the Twisters and the Grrrowl.
