Q: Will anyone in the St. Louis area be carrying WARMACHINE?
Yes. The Fantasy Shop
will take special orders for anything and the Affton Store will have
limited inventory. Medieval
Starship will also carry inventory on the Illinois side.

WARMACHINE, General
Q: Do multiple continuous effects stack?
No. If you have corrosion or fire on a model (the current continuous
effects) extra attacks that would cause them have no further game
effect.
Q: What is the difference between a Warjack Special Attack and a Special
Attack?
Warjack Special Attacks are attacks all Warjacks can execute in
place of their normal combat action at the cost of one Focus Point.
They are outlined in the quickstart rules. They will be renamed Power
Attacks in WARMACHINE Prime. Special Attacks, when available, are
noted on a Warjack's stat card with a star. Currently, only the Ironclad
and the Slayer have Special Attacks. These may be executed in place
of your Warjack's combat action but do not cost a Focus Point to use.
Q: Does my Warcaster get a +2 bonus to magical attack rolls if (s)he
didn't move?
No. The +2 bonus only applies to ranged attacks, not magic attacks.

Q: Does my Slayer's Combo Strike cost a focus point to use?
No. See discussion of Special Attacks in the General
FAQ above. Note that this means you MAY use your Combo Strike during
a Charge.
Q: How long does a model affected by Shadow Bind remain immobilized?
One round, similar to the Khador freeze effects.
Q: If my Deathripper hits a Menoth Revenger but does not destroy
the repulsor shield, which effect wins, repulsion or sustained attack?
Repulsion wins. Once the Deathripper is repulsed,
its mandibles can't lock on.
Q: Can Deneghra's spell Death Rage be used on Warjacks?
No. Currently, Deneghra and the Iron Lich are the
only valid targets for this spell.

Q: Does my Ironclad's Earthquake attack cost a focus point to use?
No. See the discussion of Special Attacks in the General FAQ above.
Note that the Earthquake IS done in place of your normal combat action,
however, so you will need to spend Focus to attack any engaged models
after the Earthquake.

Q: Does Lamentation double the cost of casting a spell through an arc
node if the arc node is within Kreoss' Control Range but the enemy Warcaster
is not?
No. Lamentation is measured to the Warcaster, not the arc node.
It will still cost the enemy Warcaster double to upkeep spells on
models within Kreoss' Control Range even if (s)he is outside of that
range, however.
Q: If my opponent boosts a damage roll against a model with Retribution
cast on it, does my return damage gain the bonus damage die as well?
No. Focus points can only boost one roll of the dice. Therefore,
you do not gain the benefit of the boosted damage on your return strike.
