Some of these aren't the best pictures I've ever taken because I got lazy and used my flash. This is the core terrain that I plan to use for my first Cryx demo table. I'm going to begin work next on some Menoth terrain and hope to be have enough to decorate a 'diorama' on the table for each faction that players can use for test games. The two hedges in the front count as Linear Obstacles. The rest will be explained below.

Believe it or not, the two faces of this hill that don't have impassible rock walls are a shallow enough grade that Warjacks can actually stand on them without toppling over! The black rock in the back is intended to be useable as a terrain objective for scenarios. I haven't decided what kind of movement penalties I want to use for climbing the the non-rocky sides of the hill. Suggestions are welcome. This hill is high enough to block line of sight and the rock faces will provide Cover if they only partially obscure a target model.

Unfortunately, some of the color detail on this rock face got washed out in the flash. It is just under 2" tall in most places making it an obstruction, and therefore impassible terrain..

The detail on the Cryx symbol really got washed out by the flash. I will retake this pic without flash once I buy a new battery for my digital camera... I plan to use this as a terrain objective in tournament scenarios. For example, it could count as a holy site granting the opposition 1 VP for every turn that he has a model within melee range of it.

The pond is one of the more challenging pieces of terrain to navigate. The two sides are impassable but the central pass counts as rough terrain and is more than wide enough for a warjack. Standing near the trees provides Concealment if they are between a model and its target.

This tree and thicket is an island of life in the swamp. The thickness of the growth combined with the slight hill provide Cover to any model standing near by.
