Chapter 3
It was a very busy day for everyone today. Tommorrow they will be
leaving to go to Hawaii and had very little time to get ready. At
the Son's place, Chichi was going crazy and packing bags for
everyone. The three boys just stared at her going bag to bag,
making sure there was nothing missing.
"Uh Chichi," Goku spoke, " we're only going for a
week. You don't need to pack this much."
"Only a week! ONLY A WEEK! Goku we are leaving our youngest
son all alone and who knows what might happen to him!"
"Mr. & Mrs. Brief will take care of them hun."
"And we're going a million miles away to a place where we
might get in an accident or get hurt."
"I'm sure we'll be--"
"And what about Gohan's education? What if he starts to get
lazy and . . .. and . . ."
"I'm sure we'll--"
"And what about . . . Sharks!!!!"
"Chichi! Calm down your over reacting!" Goku grabbed
her shoulders
"Dad's right," Gohan agreed," I'll bring my books
with me so I can study in my free time, ok."
"And," Goten joined in, "I'm strong enough to take
care of myself."
"Besides," Gohan continued," Dad and I've been to
outer space killing aliens and we came back alive."
Chichi knew that was true and slowly began to calm down.
"(Sigh.)Your right," Chichi said calming down," I
just want everyone to be safe."
Goku smiled, " We will."

Ami was packing her bags with her mother helping her. Not like
Chichi, Ami's mother stayed calm. It was her father who was over
reacting about her leaving. He ran around her room with his hands
on his head, tears flooded from his eyes.
"Oh my Lord! My little girl is leaving already! (Sniff) They
grow up so fast, I can't stand it! (Sniff) Oh Ami!!!" and he
broke down crying, hysterically on the floor. Ami and her mother
switched glances and began to laugh at the sight. Just then the
phone rang. Ami got up to answer it.
"Moshi moshi?" Ami said.
[Hello? This is Videl, is Ami there?]
"Speaking."
[Hey girl, are you done packing?]
"No, I'm about halfway done. You?"
[Same as you, I guess. Do you think we'll have to bring some
formal clothes with us?]
"I don't know? I am, just in case we go somewhere
elegant--" Ami was interrupted by Mr. Satan on the other
line.
[{Videl! What are you doing on the phone?
You're supposed to be--}]
[But dad I was just--]
[{No buts' young lady. Your not even done packing yet! Get off
the phone and finish packing, then you can talk as much as you
want. Click.}]
[(Sigh) I better go, I'll see ya later.]
"Yeah, see ya." The two girls got off the phone and
continued on their packing.

Piccolo chewed on the senzu bean, hoping it would take away the
headaches he's been having lately. They had a bag full of senzu
beans, from Korin, stored in the medicine cabinet.
'What's with me and headaches all of a sudden?' He thought to
himself as he walked into the bedroom. Shiba was packing her
clothes into the suitcase. Piccolo compared his suitcase to his
wife's. His was fairly large, but it looked small compared to
hers'.He packed his normal (whitecape, purple gi, etc.) clothes
and some casual summer clothes.
"We gotta go shopping for some more clothes for you while
we're in Hawaii, huh?!" Shiba said.
"Why? I think I have enough to last me a life time."
Shiba shrugged, "Just another excuse to go shopping." a
large smile appeared on her face. Suddenly, the bedroom door
swung open hitting the wall. Hiroshi was wearing his Hawaiian
T-shirt with his surfer shorts, sunglasses and Nike sandles.
Behind him were two huge suitcases, a guitar case and a
surfboard. His parents' gave him a funny look.
"Well, I'm ready!" Hiroshi said in excitement.
"Hiroshi, what the heck did you pack?" Piccolo asked
"Uh, clothes, weights, magazines, CDs, guitar--"
"Oh no!" Piccolo exclaimed, "You're not taking a
guitar all the way to Hawaii!"
"What! But Dad--"
"If you can live by yourself in the wilderness for a year or
two, then you can live without that junk for a week."
"But . . . Oh fine." Hiroshi began to carry the guitar
back upstairs.
"Oh and kid!" Piccolo called. Hiroshi pocked his head
out the open bedroom door.
"Take off that stupid sunglass. It reminds me of that old
fag Roshi." Hiroshi raised his eyebrows and took off his
sunglass as he left to go upstairs.
"Ugh, I can't believe he actually trained me." Shiba
said in disgust. Hiroshi ran back down to his parent's room and
placed a large CD stereo infront of the door.
"If I can't bring my guitar then can I bring my CD
stereo?"
"Well, a CD stereo doesn't sound too bad." Shiba said.
But Piccolo made a loud and clear answer,
"No!"
"Owww . . ." Hiroshi returned upstairs with the CD
stereo. Piccolo shook his head while packing.
'This is gonna be a long vacation.'
