Where to get snails

Geocities does not allow me to have an online sales centre on my site but I do have certain species of snail available for sale. These are listed below. Please email me to ask about the prices and availability of these snails (as I will not always have all of them available!)

- West African Pale landsnail
If I am unable to help you it is likely that I can put you in touch with someone who does have what you are looking for. You will find that by buying snails in this way you tend to pay less for higher quality stock. It is legal in the U.K. to send snails through the mail, so there is no need to worry about the geographical location of your contact (whether that is me or someone I put you in touch with.) I can also send all species of snail to Europe providing that the recipient takes responsibility for any customs import laws of their country, and I can send European snails to the USA and Canada, again, providing that the recipient takes full responsibility for the relevant import laws.
Please note that IT IS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL TO OWN GIANT AFRICAN SNAILS IN ALL STATES IN THE USA. If you are in the USA do not contact me asking for African snails as I will have to refuse.

You can conduct an internet search for U.K. based reptile suppliers. There are a handful of companies that operate online. However, be warned that you may find yourself recieving sub-standard stock, and paying a lot of money for the privilege
- Pet shops and reptile centres
You can also find African snails for sale in pet shops and reptile centres, though I would advise that shops often overprice their snails and also are apt to sell them with inadequate care advice, thus promoting bad ownership.
