Open a picture and type what you want to appear in clear text. you must type in White this is the picture i am using with the text written on it already

next change the layer from normal to multiply. heres a picture of where you change that:

now, you shouldn't see any text. next you go to layer-->layer style-->drop shadow. this is located on the tool bar at the top of your screen. you can adjust the settings however you like. heres a picture of my final product:
