open to images that you want to blend. they should be about the same size, here are the two images that i will use:

Image 2

next copy the image you want to use on top, [ctrl+a] [ctrl+c]. at this point you should only see the image you just copied. it should look something like this:

to finish the blending process change layer two's opacity to 50% (or whatever you like) here's a picture of where you change the layers opacity
