Liz walked into her fathers office and sat down across from him.  She told him everything, about how Michaela couldnt stop smiling at the mention of Sullys name and how Sully had gone over to the house the night before.  Josef sat there and smiled as Liz explained.  After Liz explained everything, she and Josef came up with a plan.

Do you think it will work father?

I hope so sweetie. If we follow our plan, I dont see any reason for it not to.

The ball was only a week away now and it was all Michaelas sisters could talk about. All of her sisters, except for Liz had dates and had already gotten their costumes picked out. Michaela had hoped to see Sully again before the ball, but it seemed the only place she saw him was in her dreams.

Michaela, what are you going to wear to the ball? Liz asked.

Im not sure I want to go to the ball.

Why not?

Ill be the only one there without a date, and no one would want to dance with me.

Just then Josef walked into the room and gave Liz a knowing wink at Liz. Whats this I hear about you not going to the ball my sweet little girl?

Im not sure I want to go father.

Well, thats a shame I was looking forward to dancing with all of my girls. Please go Michaela. It wouldnt be the same without you.

Alright father.

The next day Michaela and Liz went out shopping for Michaelas costume.  They had looked in three shops and were about to give up in the last one when something caught Lizs eye. It was a beautiful white gown with a bit of lace.  It was low cut and off the shoulder.

Michaela, come look at this dress.

Michaela walked over to where Liz was and took the dress from her. Do you think I would look god in it?

Oh yes! Youll look gorgeous in it. We can even dress you up to be like your story. We can make you Cinderella.

I cant possibly be Cinderella.

Well, I think youll look stunning in this dress. Come on, we can make you look like Cinderella.

Alright, if you insist.

The week flew by and Michaela had gotten the finishing touches for her costume.  She had gotten a mask that only covered her eyes and a small tiara.  The day of the dance had finally arrived and the whole day the girls were getting the last minute things, and were busy getting ready.  Josef had decided to go as a prince, that way he could dance with all of his girls.  All of the girls left for the dance at different times because their dates picked them up at different times.  Soon the only people that were left in the house were Liz, Michaela and Elizabeth.  Liz was helping Michaela finish getting ready when she noticed the look on Michaelas face.

Michaela, whats the matter?

Liz, do you think Ill ever see him again?

Yes Michaela, I do.

You really think so?

I think, that when two people are meant to be together theyll be at the right place at the right time.

Thank you Liz.

They finished getting ready, and headed to the ball.  Josef had told them he would wait for them in the front door.  Their carriage arrived at the ball and Elizabeth went in ahead of them.  When Michaela and Liz reached the front door they looked around for their dad, and were unable to find him.

Doesnt father look handsome Liz? Josef was wearing a prince costume so that he would match his daughters, and a mask that covered area around his eyes. Josef saw Michaela looking over his way and he smiled.  Michaela turned around to talk to Liz, and when she turned back around Josef and Elizabeth had disappeared into the crowd.Perhaps he escorted mother inside. Liz said hooking her arm through Michaelas. Come on, lets go inside and have some fun. The two walked around and talked to some of the other girls there, and even danced with some of the young men.  Michaela looked around the room and saw her father dancing with her mother.
