| He got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. He had remembered Michaela telling him she was preparing a bath before they had gotten interrupted. He went outside to one of the rose bushes and picked a handful. Then he went back upstairs and began to draw a bath for Michaela. Instead of bubbles he put some rose petals in the bath water. He then used the remainder of the petals to make a trail from the bed to the bathroom.
Michaela was sound asleep and didn�t hear all the commotion Sully was making. She was having the most beautiful dream. They were outside in a clearing that had the most beautiful view Michaela had ever seen. Sully was telling her where everything was going to be. �This is going to be the kitchen, and the stairs will go here.� �We�ll have four room upstairs.� Then he pointed out who the rooms were going to be for and when he got to the last room he said, �This room will be for whoever comes along.� She smiled at him and just as she was going to speak she woke up to the sensation that someone was rubbing her feet. She lifted her head up enough so she could see and she grinned when she saw it was Sully. �Sully, what�� Michaela said as she noticed the rose petals on the floor. �Hey, why don�t you follow the path and see where it takes ya?� Michaela smiled and Sully winked at her. She put her bathrobe on and began to follow the path of rose petals. She gasped when she saw the sight before her. Not only had Sully drawn her a bath and with rose petals, but he had also placed lit candles around the tub. �Oh Sully!� �Figured we could both use a bath.� Sully removed all of his clothing and stepped into the tub. He motioned for Michaela to join him, but Michaela was still shy about removing her clothes in front of Sully. However, she removed her bathrobe and once she caught Sully looking at her she began to blush. �Have I ever told you how adorable you look when you blush like that?� Michaela felt her face grow hotter. She finally stepped into the bathtub and leaned back against Sully�s chest. Sully grabbed the sponge and began to give her a very sensual bath. Michaela was in the middle of giving Sully his bath when a noise downstairs made them freeze. �Sully?� �Shh�� They stood still and listened intently. They heard faint voices and footsteps that were making their way slowly up the stairs. �Are you sure you heard noises upstairs?� �Yes, it sounded like they were coming from the bathroom.� The two figures grabbed the doorknob to the bathroom and opened the door. Michaela and Sully were still in the tub. When Michaela heard the doorknob turn she leaned up against Sully as much as she could and Sully wrapped his arms around her. They didn�t have enough time to get dressed or even get out of the tub. Sully could feel Michaela�s heart race. �I won�t let anything happen to ya. I promise.� The door opened and revealed a very surprised Josef and Elizabeth. Michaela�s face became pale and Sully�s heart jumped to his throat. Josef glanced from Michaela�s pale face, to his wife�s shocked look. �Dear, are you alright?� he asked just at that moment Elizabeth decided to faint. As she fell, she couldn�t believe what she�d just seen. Hadn�t se raised her daughter properly? Seeing her daughter and her new son-in-law like this had been too much. Josef managed to catch her before she hit the floor and closed the door. Sully and Michaela were shocked and embarrassed. For the first time since they met Michaela saw Sully blush. Sully let Michaela out of his embrace and she stepped out to get her robe on. She walked over to Sully and after he had put his pants on she leaned up to his ear and whispered, �Have I told you how cute you look when you blush like that?� Sully took her hand in his and kissed her cheek. �Come on we better get this over with.� They stepped out of the bathroom and saw Josef sitting on the floor with Elizabeth�s head on his lap. |
