�I should be asking you the same thing.� Josef said giving them both a knowing smile. �Well, we had a change of plans that�s all.� �And we came to make sure everything was in order for when you returned when we heard noises upstairs. The rest is history.� Sully still had Michaela�s hand in his and he gave her their secret code. Michaela squeezed back and focused her attention on her mother who had now come to. �Mother, are you alright?� �Yes, I�ll be fine. I was just shocked.� Michaela felt her face grow hot. �I�m sorry.� �You have nothing to be sorry about Michaela. We�re the ones that should apologize.� Josef said as he helped his wife off the floor. �I think we should be leaving now. Don�t you Elizabeth?� �Sure.� Michaela and Sully stood at the door and saw Josef and Elizabeth leave. �Michaela, maybe we should go somewhere where we won�t have anymore interruptions.� �Mmmm sounds good Mr. Sully, we only have a little time left in our honeymoon and I would like to enjoy every minute of it with no interruptions.� Chapter 4 Matthew, Colleen and Brian were in the backyard playing and Charlotte was catching up on some reading. She took a break and looked at her three children. She looked at Matthew, and was proud of the young man he was becoming. He had taken upon himself to act like the man of the house and did everything possible to protect his brother and sister. Charlotte knew she could count of him if she ever needed any help. Then she looked at Colleen who was picking some flowers. She was turning into a beautiful young woman. She was shy at times, and a little self-conscious, she was intelligent and had a fire in her eyes. Then she looked at her youngest Brian who was telling Matthew and Colleen that Sully was coming back in a couple of days with excitement in his voice. She saw how excited he was when he was talking. In a short amount of time Brian had formed a strong bond with Sully, and her heart broke. She realized that Brian was never going to know what it was like to have a father. It started thinking back on her life. Ever since she could remember she wanted to do something that would help people, and decided the best way to help was to become a nurse. She went through school and afterwards began to work at the hospital. That�s where she met Ethan. He was in the hospital because he had been in a fight and needed some stitches. Charlotte was the nurse attending him and she fell victim to his charm. Ethan was a smooth talker and before long they were married. It also wasn�t long before she became pregnant with Matthew. Charlotte had always wanted a family and she was excited when she found out she was pregnant. Ethan on the other hand acted as if was a burden. She remembered the day she told him she had been so excited. �Ethan I have some great news.� Charlotte had just gotten home from her doctor�s appointment and was glowing. �What is it?
