�Where are you off to in such a hurry?� �Well, I was actually looking for you.� �Me? Why is something wrong?� �Well, it�s just that I haven�t been feeling well lately and I was wondering if you could examine me.� �Alright why don�t we go over to my office?� Josef led Michaela to his office and he began his exam. Josef finished his exam by asking Michaela for a blood test. He assured Michaela that there was nothing wrong with her, but if there were the blood test would show it. Michaela went on with her daily activities and even though there were times where she had dizzy spells she felt a little better. Her shift was about to end and she decided to call Sully. �Hello?� �Hey � �Hey yourself. How are ya feeling?� �A little better. I had father examine me.� �And?� �He said there was nothing wrong with me.� �Well, that�s good to hear.� �Will you be home early tonight?� �I think so, but if not I�ll give you a call.� �Alright. See you then. I love you.� �I love you more.� Michaela hung up and began to gather her things so she could go home. As she was leaving her office Josef came towards her. �Michaela. May I have a moment with you?� �Yes of course.� �I received the results for you blood test.� �And?� �I think you better sit down.� Michaela�s heart stopped as she prepared herself for the worst. Josef took her hand in his and told Michaela the results. Michaela had gone home and prepared a special dinner. She expected Sully to be home early based on the earlier conversation, but he was a little over an hour late. �He said he was going to call if he was going to be late.� She thought. The hours kept passing by and still no sign of Sully. The children were getting hungry and tired and she decided to have supper without Sully. She was finishing tucking Brian in when she heard Sully come into the house. She heard him call out her name and went downstairs. She was a little upset with Sully, but as soon as she saw him those feelings disappeared. She had something important to tell him, but she was not going to let him get away that easy for making her worry. �Hi.� �I thought you were going to call me and let me know if you were going to be late?� Sully took a deep breath preparing for her wrath. �I�m sorry Michaela�. �Sorry? Dinner�s cold now and probably ruined. I had a special dinner planned and now all of my hard work has gone down the drain.� She walked over to him and he could see that cold look in her eyes. He swallowed hard knowing he was in trouble. |
