The wedding was now only two weeks away and the closer it got the more nervous Michaela became. She wasn�t worried so much about the wedding, but rather the wedding night. She was having dinner with Sully and they were talking about where they wanted to go for their honeymoon. �Michaela?� �Hmmm?� �Have you heard anything that I�ve said?� �Oh ummm yea�.it sounds nice.� �Michaela, if something�s bothering you know you can tell me.� Sully took her hands in his and looked into her eyes. �Well� it�s just that�� �What?� �I guess I�m just getting a little nervous.� �You�re not planning on backing out of the wedding are you?� Sully asked teasingly. �No, it�s just that I�ve never�.� Sully immediately understood what her worry was. �Michaela�you don�t have to worry about anything�I promise we�ll take it slow.� Having said that he leaned in and gave her a kiss that quickly deepened. Michaela�s heart raced and she pulled Sully as close as she could. How she loved the way he made her feel. Kissing him was like being kissed for the first time all over again. �Trust me.� Sully said as he pulled away from the kiss. �I already do.� Michaela was at work the following day and she received a call from her cousin saying she wasn�t going to be able to attend the wedding because an emergency had come up. This is something Michaela hadn�t expected because her daughter was going to be the flower girl and her little boy was supposed to be the ring bearer. �Great. Now what am I supposed to do?� she thought as she hung up the phone. Just then she heard Charlotte�s voice as she walked by the office. �Of course!� She ran out the door and called after Charlotte. �Charlotte! Charlotte wait!� Charlotte heard her name and turned around to see who was calling her. She saw Michaela run towards her as she kept calling her name. �What is it Michaela?� �Charlotte I have a problem. My cousin�s kids were supposed to take part in my wedding but she just called and informed me that she wasn�t going to be able to make it. I was wondering if it would be all right if Colleen and Brian took their places. I mean since you�re going to be at the wedding anyway.� �Oh Michaela, I�m sure they�d be honored. But how am I ever going to get Colleen�s dress in time for the wedding?� �Don�t worry about that. My cousin�s daughter is the same age as Colleen and I�m sure her dress would fit.� �All right then.� �Thank you so much Charlotte. This means a lot to me. Charlotte I would love for you and the children to join Sully and me for dinner tonight so I could ask them personally.� �That�s a wonderful idea. We�ll see you tonight then.� |
