| Dorothy met them at the first shop and they didnt waste anytime looking for dresses. Canice and Ashley wanted something simple but Dorothy, Anne and Dawn wanted something elegant. Michaela wanted them to pick out a dress that they would enjoy wearing. So she did her best to help them come to a compromise.
It took a while but they finally came up with the perfect dress. It was a lavender strapless gown in silk hombre over satin that matched Michaelas dress because it also had a beaded trim down both sides of the open front. With the dresses finally picked out and the invitations being ordered there was nothing left to do but wait for the big day. It was evening and Michaela headed home and found a surprise on her door. There was a note with a rose. She opened the note and saw there was an address on it. She got back in her car and went to where the note had indicated. She arrived in the driveway of the most beautiful house shes seen. She got out of the car and the front door opened revealing Sully. Sully? Whats all this about? This is your wedding gift. I couldnt wait any longer. Oh Sully, I dont know what to say. Well, you dont have to say anything. Come on Ill take you on a tour of our house. Our house Michaela repeated, I like the sound of that. Sully showed her the kitchen, living room, study and made his way up the stairs. There were five rooms in all, one master bedroom and four small ones. Michaela asked whom the rooms were for and Sully looked at her with a smile on his face. Well, I figured we might as well be prepared for whomever comes along. Oh Michaela felt herself blush. She had thought about that often. She couldnt wait to start a family with Sully, and now she felt Sully was thinking the same thing. What would you like first? I think Id like a little girl first. Then again she may turn out as beautiful as her ma, in that case Id like a little boy first. So he can scare the boys away. Michaela laughed and hit Sully playfully on the arm. You are something else Byron Sully, but I wouldnt have it any other way. ~~~~ The next afternoon it was Sullys turn to deal with the stress of finding the tuxedo. If it were up to him, hed get married in jeans and a shirt. He hated getting all dressed up, but he knew how much it meant to Michaela. So along with Hank and Josef he set off to find the right tuxedo, which didnt take as long as it had taken Michaela to find the dress. When he tried the tuxedo on so he could get it altered the fact that he was getting married in a matter of weeks hit him full force. He had been dreaming about waking up with Michaela in his arms for a long time, and soon it wouldnt be a dream anymore. He would in fact wake up and the first thing he would see would be Michaelas beautiful face. Suddenly the wedding couldnt arrive soon enough. |
