"Thank you for walking me home," Michaela said in a near whisper as she moved closer to sully placing a light kiss on his cheek.  She looked at him a moment afterwards with a small smile before moving towards the door.  Sully couldn't take his eyes away from her, all the breath in him gone.  She had bewitched him completely and a part of him wished the moment hadn't ended.

The next day, Michaela couldnt stop smiling at work, and everyone noticed.
When she walked past Ashleigh and Dawn they stopped her and asked her why she was in such a good mood.  She simply smiled at them and answered, Because I caught a lightning bug last night.

Anne and Dorothy were walking through the lobby when they saw Sully. What are you doing here?

I came to see if Michaela would be interested in having lunch with me.

Speaking of her, what did you two do last night after you left the party that she hasnt been able to stop smiling?

Sullys face lit up when he heard that. All we did was catch a lightning bug. Before they could ask him anything else he saw Michaela walk towards the elevator and went after her.

What does that mean? Dorothy asked Anne with a puzzled look on her face.

Michaela was waiting for the elevator when she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. She turned around and came face to face with the reason shed been smiling all day. Sully? What are you doing here?

Sullys heart melted at the sound of his name coming from her lips. I came to see if you were free for lunch.

Michaelas heart began to race and her smile got bigger. That would be lovely, I just have to run these charts up and then Ill be free.

Ill wait for you here.

A couple of minutes later Michaela came back down to the lobby and felt her stomach fill with butterflies when she saw Sully smiling at her.  Ready to go?

Michaela smiled and shook her head as she and Sully headed out the hospital. During lunch Sully told Michaela that the house she was living in belonged to his family. He told her that it had been built sometime in the 1800s.

It was built by my great great grandfather Byron Sully, I was named after him. He built it for my great great granmother, my great grandfather and his brother and sisters.  As Sully was telling Michaela about the house a light breeze blew and carried the smell of her perfume to his nose. He tried to pinpoint the exact smell of the perfume but the only way to truly describe it was a blooming garden in Spring.

Sully, theres a desk in the barn that I would love to use in my office. I mean if that would be alright.

Its alright with me. Do you need help getting it inside the house?

As a matter of fact, yes I do.

If youd like Hank and I can come over and we can move it inside for you.

That would be great! I should be home after five if youd like to meet me at the house.

Sure, that wont be a problem.  Sully was glad he had an excuse to see her again.

Michaela looked at her watch and saw it was time for her to start heading back to the hospital.  Sully, I should get back to work now.  Sully paid the bill the two started walking back towards the hospital.

On the way to the hospital they walked by a florist shop. Michaela hang on a second. Sully called out as he stopped and went inside. When he came out of the the shop a several minutes later he held a couple of tulips in his hands.
For you. He said handing them to Michaela.

Michaela blushed as she brought the flowers to her nose. Thank you.

No, thank you for joining me for lunch. Sully said as he leaned in and kissed her cheek.  Come on, lets get you back to the hospital. The whole way back to the hospital Michaelas heart felt as if it were about to burst out of her chest.

Anne, Dorothy, Ashleigh and Dawn were all having lunch and talking about the strange mood Michaela had been in all day when they saw her and Sully walking back toward the hospital.  I think I know why shes been smiling all day. Ashleigh whispered.

Look, he got her flowers. Dawn pointed out as they got closer.

They look good together. Maybe now he can get over what Abigail did to him. Anne said.
