Task 1: Putting it in Perspective
Task 2: Taking a Stand
*Task to be completed after reading Chapter 25*
Some people make choices that force pain and suffering upon others, which we saw in the previous task. In this task you will contemplate choices that are made for the betterment of a country or people. Elvis frequently chooses to take the homeless out for a meal. These choices may not be intended to harm anyone, but the consequences of these actions must also be taken into consideration.
Taking action is choice.
And sometimes people get hurt.

Get Up Stand Up - Bob Marley
As you complete this task, listen to the song and contemplate the lyrics. Let this song inspire you.
After finishing Chapter 25 view the following websites and consider what is at stake, if it was worth it, and would you, or could you do it?
Task 2:
Consider the above images and stories in relation to what Sunday and his neighbors were trying to accomplish. Ask yourself what kind of stand are you willing to make? Are you willing to be so brave, when the consequences are so grim? Write a 1-2 page essay reflecting on what you would take a stand for and to what lengths you would go to accomplish a goal. Include references and information from the above links in your essay. Post your essay on your blog labeled "Task 2" and place a copy in your portfolio.
Once completed, move on to Task 3 at once!
