This verse comes from the Scripts of Alcharamna, a book of poems and ancient wisdoms. Though most of the Scripts were destroyed, there are a few verses that survived. Most of these involve Dragons, the mighty creatures of nature. Most percieve Dragons as horrible creatures; but in Marcala, the Dragons are beings of wisdom and truth. Described below are but a few types of the Dragons found in Marcala. |

Air Dragon |

|
|
The Dragons of the Air are considered to be the wisest of the Marcalan Dragons. They are usually a light blue to a navy blue with lighter colored undersides. They look fierce and strong, but spend much of their time studying the Ancient Scrolls of Tackmara. They most often live in cliffside villages and have a society that closely resembles human life. |

Water Dragon |

|
|
When it comes to the Art of Healing, none are wiser or more powerful than the Water Dragons. They can normally be found in small family groups of mother, father, and child. Their homes consist of lakes, deep rivers, and any other body of water. They are kind and caring beings by nature.
By all appearances, the Water Dragons are fierce warriors. They are normally a light grey to midnight black with a spike, clubbed tale and horns running in two rows from the top of their eyes to their neck, where the two rows become one row that runs all the way down to their tail. |

Earth Dragon |

|
|
Earth Dragons are best known for their grace and style in the stone structures that they erect for their villages. They live primarily inside of vast cavern systems under mountains, but can be found in underground tunnels through out Marcala.
When young, they are primarily a light forest green in coloration and take on a more sandy appearance as the grow older. |
