I am Saraj Gupta,
currently in my final year of B.E in Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology
(Delhi University). Being a keen M.S.
aspirant, I would like to pursue my M.S in Manufacturing Systems from the
U.S.
Being a hardworking person, I believe in
giving my 100 percent to all my endeavors, and when I am unable to ascend
the echelons of success in my first attempt, the saying
“Don’t Quit” motivates me I definitely try again.
Besides being an adherent of ethics, I am also a firm believer of God.
My Driving Force
During my fifth semester at NSIT, our professor Dr. S.K. Sinha showed
us a live demonstration of flexible manufacturing, when he took us to the
FMS lab and showed us how the six DOF robot lifts the aluminium
workpieces and transfers them from the Denford CNC HTC (Horizontal Turning
Center) to the CNC
Vertical Milling Machine. Being fascinated by the way manufacturing
hardware and software could be integrated together in order to produce
such miraculous results, I became determined to pursue my masters in
Manufacturing, and have been working hard for it ever since. I would love
to work sedulously as a manufacturing engineer in an environment
comprising mostly of Computers, CNC machines and Robots.

Apart from manufacturing, I have always had a penchant for software
right from my school days. Having been fascinated by the web designing, I
had developed my first commercial website www.thecomputerpark.com in my class XI and was overjoyed when
my interview appeared in the local newspaper. I have also taught JAVA to
a group of engineers at the Software Specialists Integration (SSi)
institute in Panipat, during my class XII summer vacations.
