In 1979 there were only three Italian Restaurants in Newport News; one of those being Rosalita's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria. We have been in business for 33 years now. Throughout these many years we have witnessed many changes in the area as far as restaurants, people, and stores that have come and gone. In our shopping center alone, the view from our front windows has changed from a Publix to now Big Lot’s. Amongst these changes is also the economy. We started as a family owned business with little competition in the area. Today we are surrounded with various restaurants. But we maintain that family dinners are important and should be at the core of everyday life. We have stuck firmly to this belief and it shows. We are still the number one Italian restaurant in the area.
