Classes and Workshops Beginning Oil Painting If you have some basic drawing skills and are ready to learn to work in colour with oil paint, this is the workshop for you. This class will consist of demonstrations, discussion of basic colour theory and weekly exercises that range from simple to challenging. A supply list will be provided. Materials fee: RM 15 covers materials the instructor provides- the cost of all prepared painting surfaces, shared use of odourless Turpenoid, oil painting medium, paper towels, tape, rulers, etc. Charcoal Drawing With its emphasis on light and shadow, working with charcoal is excellent preparation for learning to paint. The expressive power of charcoal's rich darks and subtle range of beautiful grays has made it a favourite medium for artists from the ancient past to the present. Lessons will include working from life still, copying master drawings and portraiture.
