My Peace Corps Service in Honduras: Down to the last month!
The rains have returned to Honduras.  After a month long drought which destroyed much of the corn crop and also the bean crop in many parts of the country, Hurricane Charley's path up the coast of Florida is bringing a lot of moisture our way.  It is too late to save most of the crop, but maybe it will prepare the ground for a good second planting.

My Peace Corps service is soon to come to a crashing end.  It's a bittersweet time for me.  On one hand I am excited to be going home and going back to all the places and people that I love.  On the other hand I am sad to be leaving the place that I have called home and the people I have called friends for the past two years.

I went to pick coffee for a couple days in the "town" (three houses together) of Montenergro
