| Matt was born in August, 25th 1965.His grandparents were italian immigrants. Matt was and still is a big a big motorcycle and car fan. He received his first one, when he was eight years old and he also went to competitions, but his mother forced him to a different outlet for his talents. He trained for a job in carpentry. But was aspired to put artistic elements into it. After his graduation he wanted to make a life for himself in New York. But 1987 he got offered roles for commercial-roles in national TV Levi`s jeans, Coca-cola and Doritos. He even was in the for Heinz ketchup that won the prestigious Lion award at the 1987 Cannes film festival. In 1988 he started trainig for serious acting. After a short time he got the role for "TV 101", so he had to move to L.A..He also starred in many more TV-series. He made his film debut in "Looking italian" with Alanis Morrisette. And in 1994 he got the role for Joey Tribbiani in FRIENDS. In the last 10 years he developed a great passion for landscape-fotographie , which has brought him to various places like Switzerland, Germany, Amsterdam and USA He is single, and he lives with his dog ("Lady") in Los Angeles.. |
