Each year, even though the harvests are the same old same old, it is still exciting to watch the grapes come off! We had a good crop this year, 28.02tonnes.
This year, we have purchased a New Holland Tractor, atv, mulcher, sprayer, net winder and various other implements that I wouldn't even know what they are for! Along with our antiquated red tractor (which I am sure is among one of the first invented and belongs at Brayshaw Park Vintage Machinery Mueseum!), Gavin wants to focus more on tractor work. This will (and is starting to already) involve some long hours.
I am contemplating learning to ride the red tractor (the New Holland is just too big for me), but I would only drive it at home (I wouldn't be allowed to drive it on the road anyway). Right now I'm happy just driving the ride-on mower, and occassionally the atv (which Dylan is learning to ride too).
