 | Sri Sarada Math branch at Indore commenced its activities in March 1991. The aims and objects of the center are to carry on educational, cultural,charitable and religious activities among women and children, irrespective of caste, creed and nationality. Presently, a high school for girls with total strength of nearly 400 is being run, aiming at all round development of the children. Poor but meritorious students receive free eduation, or given concession in their fees. Two batches have come out with commendable results. |
Eleven years of one pointed efforts have brought the school to its present status. Now we wish to give more attention to the spread of spiritual ideas and culture.At present we have a very small prayer room with no proper place for devotees to sit and mediate. For many years it has been the desire of many devotees and friends that a separate shrine and prayer hall should be constructed where regular worship of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda can be conducted. | |

The proposed shrine, prayerhall and the basement, covering about 8000 sq. ft., have been designed to accommodate about 250 devotees is estimated to cost approx. Rs. 40 lakhs, including two additional rooms on either side of the prayer hall, to accommodate guest and monastic members.
This shrine and Prayer Hall dedicated to Sri Ramakrishna and Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi will inspire people of all religions, for they stood for Universality and Harmony which is need of the present age. The construction work has been started after special Puja and Homa on 4th May 2003 and presently the basement is nearly completed. A holy undertaking of this kind and magnitude require the support and goodwill of all thoughtful members of the society. We invite one and all to participate in this noble project by contributing as much as possible. |  |
