| GENERATION X. Brought up by MTV and caught up in the tide of change typified by such cutting-edge technology as palm-sized cell phones and the Internet, the Filipino youth is headed towards the next millenium with the tools that can shape our future in ways that were never imagined before. |
| Where there is light however, there is shadow. |
| WHILE MANY OF US LOOK FORWARD to a bright future and prosperous lives, many of our countrymen cry for a different kind of change - the kind that does not involve smaller phones or text maessaging - but a smaller kind of change. One wherein they hope to experience the comforts we all take for granted. |
| WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE in their lives. All we have to do is remember that their future is our future- and that there is our future- and that there is no use making our lives better if there are those who will continue to suffer from the apathy of an unconcerned generation. |
