A few other sensor types occasionally used in paranormal research are...

Barometers - measure the air pressure. Some researchers have noted that there will be sudden rises or drops in air pressure when a spirit is attempting to manifest an effect.

White Noise Generators - a sound system that plays "noise" over a wide range of frequencies. It  is used to block out intrusive background noises. SOme researchers use them to provide a spirit with enough sound "fuel" to ease attempts at communication.

Ion Sensors - measures the electrical charge in the air. They are often used in tandem with EMF sensors to find a location of a paranoral event.

Gaussmeter - a name often used interchangeably with an EMF detector, but it is primarily designed to detect magnetic fields.

Motion Sensors - they detect, well, motion. Most use an infra-red light and include a sensor that detect the IR reflections. If there is a change in those reflections, such as from a person walking in front of it, then the sensor will tigger an alarm or switch on a light, or other effects. Some researchers have had good luck with motion sensors, while others have had no luck with them.

Geiger Counter - detects Alha, Beta, and Gamma paricles and X-rays, such as are released by a radioactive substance. They are mainly used by ufologists in studying suspected UFO landing sites, but some ethereolgists use them as well.

Bionic Ears - these are very sensitive mono-directional microphones, often mounting collector dishes to improve their sensitivity. They are often used to detect slight noises (such as whispers) at great distances. Very valuable in cryptozoology, and modified forms have been used in ethereolgy as well.

UV Cameras - these cameras and camcorders opeate on the same principle as the infra-red cameras, but use ultra-violet light instead.

Magnetometer - this name commonly applies to two instruments. One is very similar to the common metal-detector. Another is a variety of gaussmeter and senses when an object has been magnetized. Both are useful in ufology, but of limited value in other fields.

Electrostatic Charge Sensors - measures the amount of static electricity in the air. Static electricity has often been associated with hauntings, alien activty, and psychic phenomena, though they have little application in cryptozoology.

Gas Detectors - there are a wide variety of sensors that detect propane, methane, carbon monoxide, radon, and other potentially harmful gasses. While they are not used n the detection of paranormal phenomena, they are vaulable aids for finding naural causes of unusual experiences.

Night Vision - a versatile system that amplifies existing light. There are versions that can be attached to common cameras and camcorders, binocular and monocular models, and stand-alone systems.
