| On the left, there's "The walk, the woman in the shade" painted in 1875 and on the right "Figure in open air (towards the right) painted in 1886. When you look at the paintings, you think they were painted one after the other, but in fact there are 11 years between them. |
| I love poppies, that's why this painting is one of my favourites. "The poppies in Argenteuil" was painted in 1873 and it's oil on canvas. |
| And this is "Sun Rise" painted in 1872. It might not be as detailed and colourful as the rest of Monet's paintings, but I think the contrast between all those dark colours and the orange sun is really wonderful. |
| And the last, but not at all the least are "Water lilies" on the left and "The Water-Lily Pond, Symphony in Rose" on the right. Two views from Giverny, one painted in 1907 and the other in 1900... |
