| Monet painted REGATTA AT ARGENTEUIL in 1872. It is oil on canvas and it is a Monet classic. I had tried to immitate this picture once, but unfortunately it wasn't a great success. |
| As you can see Monet loved the water and Sun's reflections on it. on the left there is THE BRIDGE OF ARGENTEUIL painted in 1874 and on the right THE HIGHWAY BRIDGE AT ARGENTEUIL. |
| On the left THE BED OF TULIPES, NETHERLANDS painted in 1886 and on the right THE GRAND CANAL painted in 1908. Although the colours are very different, you can still see the similarity between their styles. |
