Trip to Dublin of the Republic of Ireland

7th April, 01 (Sat) - Day Four Heading for home

Dun Laoghire is just a small town on the harbour on the south of Central Dublin. On the last day of our trip, we took a quick visit to the James Joyce Museum (Tower) there. We were lucky to be given a lift to the museum by a middle-aged woman whom we were asking for directions after getting off the bus. The Museum was crowded with a tour when we got there. We just had a quick look at its souvenir shop. It was still freezing in early April, but a group of swimmers had got nothing to fear and enjoyed their swim at the bay...

The rainy weather drove away our enthusiasm and happiness and we arrived at theh airport three hours prior to the departure of our flight. We were the first to get the tickets at the airline's counter and we couldn't wait to go back our warm home in Manchester as soon as possible.
