The rioters to the left were protesting the US in Iraq. These guys are in one of the passageways and not right in the Square or street. Must've been chilly.

| One of the best things about Taksim - the food. Options galore. High-end, low-end - all excellent. I took a travelling millionaire from my hometown to a favourite on Istiklal and he claimed it was the best lamb he had ever eaten anywhere in the world.
