Due to continued expansion, Oxford House College - London- is currently recruiting full time English Teachers for 2 branches in Istanbul, Turkey.
We provide general and business English for adults (mostly senior executives and large corporate employees) (ed's note: probably not meant to imply that they prefer plus-sized students...) in groups and one-to-one. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers with minimum six months experience. We also welcome applications from senior teachers for more senior positions. |

" My roommate works PT for Oxford House College. Due to the current shakeup in management , it looks as though the teachers will not be receiving April's paycheck. OH says the old manager will pay them, the manager says OH will pay them. In the end, the teachers expect to be left out in the cold."

"(I) had an interview in January (2006). I was not impressed. They offered me 1400 YTL for 32 contract hours per week, and something like 14 TL for overtime...But I liked the location. Not far from Osman Bay Metro."

"Have a look at the new Oxford House College ad. They have succumbed to hourly pay and make no mention of accommodation of work permits. There is no mention of even the hourly pay rate but reckon you can earn an lofty 450-700 pounds a month on god know how many hours."
