| There are many positive aspects to living on the Asian side of Istanbul. I lived there for several months and worked at K1 part time while working also at another, now defunct, language school. I had the very best living quarters I have ever had not just provided by a language school, but in my entire adult life. We lived in a house - though I realize this is very uncommon. It has both a washer and a dryer. The house was modern, new, and very big. We had six teachers living in it. The markets are wonderful. The ferries will take you right to Sirkeci, or Buyukada. | A typical street in Kadikoy. It is not hard to find ET here. The school is well marked and advertised. Though when I worked in the K1 branch, it was brand spankin' new. It was colouful. What you see in the pictures to the bottom left are bus companies in Kadikoy, Varan and Uludag - two of the bigger ones. There is a major bus terminal here, as well as a new airport.
