| The Dalton Highway, commonly called the "haul Road" was orginally constructed to carry equipment and supplies to the oil feilds on the North Slope of Alaska's Arctic. The construction of this highway created an excellent gateway to remote regions of the interior and northern parts of Alaska. Travelling through some of the most remote and unpopulates area of the state os Alaska. Travelers have a rare oportunity to see Alaska much as it was when explorers and prospectors first swarmed to the to the Klondike and the Brooks Range at the turn of the century in search of Gold. |
