| Trey's 2005 Sand Season
Well, the season started by selling the old VW sandrail and buying a new
2.0 litre Pinto powered 4 seat sandrail. I had wanted a 4 seater
for many years and finally decided that I had better do it before I got
old. I found this one in Washington and paid $6,750 for it.
It had some minor bugs; some which I have resolved, some which still
need work. However... it is a real strong machine with lots of
power! What a lot of fun to drive it! Even more fun to be
able to invite more people to go with me into the dunes. |

In May, Jackie and I went to Florence
with the Odd Fellows from Chemeketa Lodge to work on the park and also
have some fun. Here are some of us. |

In June, Christie and some of her friends
went camping at the beach. I drove down and spent one day at the
dunes with them. This was just after they had graduated from OSU. |

| In July, I took Noel, Mick and Tristan to
the dunes near Winchester Bay. |

Regretfully, we broke a rocker arm. However, we
still found some fun. |

| Emily, Eric, Nicholas, and Ashley joined
me at the dunes in July, but the rail was not running well. It was
a nice day to be at the beach, though! |
