For the first lesson we had to choose an image, choose 3 or 4 colours from it and make a colour swatch.These are the colours I chose. I chose the lightest colour for my main background, as text tends to show up better on a light background. But you have to be careful as it is tempting to add a texture to it, but if the texture is too deep the text is difficult to read. I used all the colours to make a tile for the backdrop to the page. Choosing a colour for the text was difficult I did wonder about blue. Or perhaps brown. But in the end decided green was easiest to read.
