Morialta Falls and 4th Creek
4th Creek is a long meandering creek whose waters feed the river Torrens of Adelaide. The whole creek line is well pathed.
In Morialta National Park there are many well kept and marked walking trails that lead to each of the three falls along the creek. Due to the delicate flora and fauna no dogs or cycles are permitted on the trails.
The falls aren't running just yet so here is an idea of their looks, i'll get pics later!!
The park is home to Koalas, Kangaroos, Snakes, Yabbies, Frogs, Kookaburras, Magpies, Rosellas, Parrots and many other birds, bugs and animals. It is suggested that you stay on the walking trails to stop the spread of disease throughout the park. The walking trails provide access to those who want simple walks, such as the 1/2 hr walk to the first falls, or very long 4hr walks that take you past all 3 falls. Up past the 2nd falls there are areas popular with rock climbers, access is from the Norton summit Road.
