for Hybrid Energy Systems for Electricity.
Project aims to develop
a Software Package for Autonomous Power Generation System. The software
will assist Power Producing Companies to get optimal mix of Energy
Resources. It will answer the ratings of plants in Hybrid System to meet
the Electrical load with given LOLP. Results will be in the form of Price
of Power.
M.tech. Seminar Modeling of Critical Heat Flux (CHF) in Boiling
Systems.
Performed study of boiling regimes in natural as well as
flow boiling, Concept of CHF, Correlations for CHF and Subchannel
Analysis.
B.E Project Piezoelectric Actuation of Structures: Theoretical and
Experimental study.
Developed a Finite Element Model (using ANSYS)
of piezoelectric actuated cantilever beam. Computed deflection at tip of
beam using model, verified it with theoretical and experimental results.
The project has its application in Vibration Control, Intelligent
Structures and Space Applicaions.
B.E. Seminar MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) Growing in a
shrinking world.
Performed study of MEMS, its components,
Micromachining processes, Micro sensors and Micro actuators. Studied
potential MEMS devices, their applications, growth and impact on society.
Summer Project Experimental study of Piezoelectric Actuated
Structures.
Conducted experiments on piezoeletric actuation of
beams, plates, curved beams and shells. Study their behaviour and
Conceptualized Deflection Control Strategies.
