| *Chapter 3* I was not looking forward to going home because I knew Brian would want to talk about 'us'. But luckily, we were both too wasted to talk about anything and we went straight to bed. But the next morning after breakfast, Brian had to bring it up. "Hey Jessica..... What are we gonna do about you moving away??....... I mean, what's gonna happen with..... us?" "Well ummmmmm......." I was totally caught off guard. " I don't know Brian... but, uh... do we have to talk about this right now? I have to go down to SDW one last time. Pick up my stuff." "Oh I see...." "Can we talk later hun?" "Of course, I'll just chill here til you get back.......... I love you Jessica." "I love you too Brian." I kissed him on the cheek and headed out the door. I couldn't believe I had escaped that one. I didn't want to talk to Brian because I knew right where it was headed. There wasn't any way we could stay together. I was moving too far away, and I wasn't going to let him move with me, I knew he'd try to do that. I'd never loved anyone like I loved Brian, and I couldn't stand the thought of losing him. I definitely was gonna take my time at SDW to delay the inevitable at home. I decided to try and forget about all that for the time being as I pulled up to SDW. This was the last time I'd see this place for a long time, and I had a lot of people to say goodbye to. I had made some of the best friends there but it was time for me to move on to bigger things. I turned my car off and walked inside. "Hey Ed!" Ed Hellier was the promoter of SDW and I had a feeling that he was the one who had sent my portfolio to Shane and sold me so much to him. Ed always spoke very highly of me. "Hey Jessica! So I hear you're leaving us???" He asked. "Yup! And it's all thanks to you Ed! You never gave up on me!" "Hey I told you you were WWE-bound, I just helped you get there a little quicker." "I knew you pulled a few strings!! What did you have to do?!" "Ahh nothin much, don't you worry about it!" "OK... but just remember I'll never forget you... or this place! God this is where I began! I'll come back as often as I can, and I always loved the shows!" "Well you are of course always welcome here, I hope this isn't the last we see of you! Maybe a few guest appearances in the future??" "Yeah sure! This isn't the last I'll be around. But right now I think I should go say goodbye to the guys." "Oh of course... well you have my number, so keep in touch! Bye." We hugged and I walked into the training room. I could already hear Jason yelling - he was the main trainer and he often yelled when we didn't do somethin perfectly. But that's what was expected of us here - perfection, and those high standards are what got me so prepared for the WWE. I walked in and watched Laura and Sean in the ring. Laura was the only other girl at SDW at the time with me training, and we had become very close. All of the other girls who worked for SDW were mostly there for looks so they didn't train, and the 3 other girls trained at another place but did shows for SDW. So, Laura was all I had! She was awesome too, I knew she'd be in the WWE with me someday! I watched their match for a few minutes before people started noticing I was there. I said goodbye to all of them and Laura walked with me to the locker room so I could get my stuff. "I can't believe you're leaving!.... so soon I mean." Laura said. "I know! I never expected this so soon! It all feels like a dream!" I said as I packed my stuff up. "But it's not! I mean, this is what you were meant to do, go out there and show OVW what ya got! I wanna see you on WWE television in less then a year Jessica!" I laughed. "Yeah I'll work on that. And I'll be waiting for you to come join me!" "Awww, you're sweet, I'll keep workin on it but don't get your hopes up!" "No you'll make it! Don't let me down Laura!" "OK I won't, I promise." "OK good... well I really have to be going, Brian's waiting for me at home." "Oh alright hun! Don't be a stranger, make sure and call when ya can!" "Of course I will! I'll talk to ya soon! Bye!!" we hugged and I gathered the rest of my stuff and headed home. It was time to talk to Brian. |
