| *Chapter 15* The next week I learned how life on the road went. We had Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off, and Jeff invited me over to his house. We hung out all week and got to know each other. On Friday we had to go do a house show. We had just barely had time to get into our locker room, when Vince knocked on the door. "Hey Vince." Jeff said. "Hi guys, listen I'm glad I caught you early. I wanted to talk about tonight. Jessica I'd like you to valet Jeff to the ring, to get a feel for what it's going to be like on Monday. So, I hope you havesomething to wear. I'm sorry to spring this on you without any warning." Vince said. "No, that's OK! I mean, yeah it's last minute, but I don't really care. This is what I've been waiting for." I said. "Well good." said Vince. "Jeff you match is the third one tonight, against RVD. Jessica, you'll be announced with Jeff, but like I said you'll probly get a pretty weird reaction. But just go out there and cheer Jeff on. We won't do anything like cheating to help him win yet. But after the match, Jeff will win, go in the ring and hug, or whatever feels right. How does that sound?" "It sounds great Vince!" "Good, be ready by seven." "I will be!" I was so excited! My WWE debut! I wasn't expecting to go out with Jeff later, it was amazing. It was a pretty packed house show, about 5,000 people were there, and in truth, no one knew who I was, but I didn't care. It felt amazing to be out there in front of a live audience. I couldn't wait for Monday to come. |
