"Hmmm...perhaps in the east corner, where the next alignment will take place..."
This room is almost entirely bare, and initially you think it is unoccupied. Then a noise from a far corner attracts your attention. A simply huge magus, perhaps seven feet tall, is sitting in the corner, muttering to himself. You are unable to make out his features, as he is almost entirely hidden by a large piece of paper, which you guess must be a map or diagram of some sort. A pile of scrolls lies on the floor near the magus's feet. If you are quiet, you may be able to retrieve one and peruse its contents without him noticing you.
