| To work closely with the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA) and with any other recognised body, which combats the problem of drug abuse in Singapore and regionally. To work with Christian Aftercare Centres and other appropriate agencies in the rehabilitation of ex-drug abusers. To train Christian Volunteer Aftercare Officers (VAOs) with the view to their attaining a wholistic approach towards the drug rehabilitation process and to familiarise them with the operations of the Christian Aftercare Centres. To encourage ex-drug abusers to seek and complete their rehabilitation in the Christian Aftercare Centres prior to assisting them re-integrate into society. To assist ex-drug abusers with skills development so that they may become productive citizens of Singapore. To provide preventive education and/or Biblical counselling in government and non-government institutions and to the general public. |
